Danhostel Roskilde is located in Roskilde harbour next to the Viking Ship Museum. The hostel is open all year round, with 40 large en-suite rooms each with its own TV, and facilities for courses and conferences.
The city of Roskilde is located on the Island of Zealand and is just 45 minutes from Copenhagen by train. There are numerous attractions in Roskilde. During the summer months, the tour boat Sagafjord, which stops just 100 meters from the main entrance of the hostel, provides a tour of Roskilde Fjord. Roskilde Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Viking Ship Museum, plus the City's charming pedestrian street with shops, courtyards and cafes that are only about 10 minutes walk from the green urban park.
Roskilde Music Festival, held annually, is the biggest music festival in Europe, and takes place just a few km away from the hostel. This year the Festival will be held from June 29 to July 6.
